Who am I?

First, let me share my Wellbeing Journey….

I began my journey into healing in 2004/2005, training as an Aromatherapist with the International Federation of Aromatherapists. It was here that I discovered my deep love for the healing power of touch and scent.

In early 2006, I went looking for my tribe — and found it. I met Margaret Hunt, whose Water Lily Temple meditations and Mary Magdalene Retreat Days became a powerful part of my spiritual unfolding. I was eventually initiated as a Magdalene Priestess, and later as a High Priestess.

In 2008, I encountered the Naked Voice and trained with Chloë Goodchild, completing three modules of the Facilitator Training. On the first of these, I experienced a profound spiritual visitation — I welcomed Ananda Mayi Ma into my heart, literally opening a window in my sleep to let her in. She has never left. Since then, voice has been central to my path. I’ve been called to offer voice workshops and was often invited to sing for healing at Margaret Hunt’s retreat days.

These teachings continue to echo in my work today, especially in the poetry sessions I co-facilitate with my friend and co-creative Daisy Green.

In 2016–2017, I deepened my commitment to sound healing, training as a Vocal Sound Healing Facilitator with the College of Sound Healing. It became clear to me that my voice was not only an instrument for expression, but for transformation and healing.

In April 2017, I opened Land of Milk and Honey (Lomah) in Oswestry — a space offering therapies and meditation classes. I ran this business until the pandemic, after which I felt called back into the community development and social enterprise sector, where I’d previously worked for over a decade.

But self-employment suits my creative rhythm — and so here I am again, stepping forward under a new name: Medlicott — my paternal grandmother’s name. My great-grandfather, Thomas Medlicott, was a patissier, and my maternal grandmother also baked cakes for a living. A love of natural, wholesome food has always been part of my life — as has chocolate and cacao, which have threaded through my story in both magical and challenging ways.

I’ve also been deeply involved in community growing projects, supporting many initiatives over the years. And flowers — always flowers. Rose is a constant companion, especially David Austin’s Wild Eve.

Today, I offer a selection of therapies from Glyn Wylfa in Chirk — blending all I’ve gathered from years of practice, listening, creating, and healing.
