Words in Water
I return after my mom’s death and I want to experiment with a paper pulp to assist in the body sculpture. I soak shredded paper in warm water from the tap in the studio. I find I like the feeling in the warm hater of stirring with my hand. I end up recording two pieces as I notice the words that arise, the colours that Karen had seen in my work repeating monochrome and gold and the temperature of the water. I use the pulp to try and mould a death mask in spired by the story of Madame Tussaud.
